We're delighted to invite you to the packing sessions for our Purple Pages information packs and Warm-in-Winter bags, which will be gifted to vulnerable older people across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, this winter.

Purple Pages (Hertfordshire)

Every Warm in Winter gift bag contains essential keep warm items and useful information. With your help we will pack and then distribute up to 12,000 Warm in Winter gift bags in time for the colder weather. Come on your own, with friends, colleagues or family – a warm welcome awaits. It certainly looks like the winter ahead will be a particularly challenging one for many older people. Here at Small Acts of Kindness ‘HQ’ we are looking ahead with positivity to being able, once again, to help some of the most vulnerable older people in our community keep warm and feel less lonely and isolated. Now all we need to make everything happen is your help. This year, once again, our packing days will take place at our wonderful building in North Watford (WD24). Purple Pages (Bedfordshire)

We invite you to join us to pack Warm in Winter gift bags and Purple Pages information packs for older people across Bedfordshire who need help keeping warm over the winter months. With thanks to Bedfordshire Rural Communities Charity (Beds RCC) for hosting these packing sessions at Houghton Hall Park visitor centre. This year, once again, we will be packing 2,500 Bags of Kindness that will be distributed to vulnerable people across Hertfordshire. Combining practical items with tasty treats, these packing sessions are always rewarding and fun. This project is funded by and in partnership with Herts County Council’s Community and People Wellbeing team and HertsHelp This year, once again, our packing days will take place at our wonderful building in North Watford (WD24). Winter Fuel Payments

If you receive a Winter Fuel Payment but don’t need it, please think of someone who might and donate it to Small Acts of Kindness. For thousands the cold kills. Your donation will go directly towards items included in our Warm in Winter gift bags. For some, they could be a life saver.
A Small Act

This winter, we will be sourcing, packing and distributing 12,000 Warm in Winter gift bags, at a cost of £35 to us, helping to heat the person, when they can’t afford to heat their home. This means 12,000 older people will be warmer in their homes, happier and more connected to their community. We need your help to make this happen. Please donate today and together we can connect communities with kindness.
