We were delighted to be featured in the Watford Observer, covering the fantastic news that we had reached our target of packing 7,000 Warm in Winter gift bags. Alongside our amazing team of over 200 volunteers, three Hertfordshire dignitaries Henry Holland-Hibbert, the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire; Robert Voss, Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire; and Peter Taylor, the elected Mayor of Watford, also gave several hours of their time to help.

For my year as Captain of Sandy Lodge Golf Club, I am delighted to have chosen to support the local charity, Small Acts of Kindness. A worthwhile cause, that is close to my heart, they reduce loneliness and isolation for vulnerable, older people, with a particular interest in those who are cold in their homes.

Volunteer packing days

We are delighted to invite you to help pack all the contents for our Warm in Winter gift bags and Purple Pages information packs. These will be gifted to vulnerable older people across Hertfordshire & Bedfordshire this winter.
Our projects

Throughout the year, we source, pack and distribute over 15,000 gifts to older and vulnerable people. You can read all about our projects here.

Here at Small Acts of Kindness ‘HQ’ we are looking ahead with positivity to being able, once again, to help some of the most vulnerable older people in our community keep warm and feel less lonely and isolated. Now all we need to make everything happen is your help.

Winter Fuel Payments

If you receive a Winter Fuel Payment but don’t need it, please think of someone who might and donate it to Small Acts of Kindness. For thousands the cold kills. Your donation will go directly towards items included in our Warm in Winter gift bags. For some, they could be a life saver.
