This Christmas, we once again joined the amazing Violet’s Gift to support the logistics, storage and wrapping sessions so that gifts could be distributed to people in care homes with no loved ones.

Emily Benner, Founder of Violet’s Gifts commented 'We are so grateful to have the support of Small Acts of Kindness for a third year. Not only has their guidance been invaluable in improving our charitable project, but fundamentally we couldn’t operate without their help storing our gifts and coordinating the present wrapping sessions. We are very proud to partner with such a wonderful charity.'

There have been many challenges, but despite them all we were able to reach over 1,500 people. A huge thank you to the incredible kindness and generosity of everyone who donated gifts and to those who gave their time to wrap and deliver them.

We were especially delighted to have been contacted by BrandMe and Salesforce, two companies who were looking to support our Christmas project. Setting up donation boxes for gifts in their offices, their staff wrapped them all and then sent them to us ready to be delivered. A huge thank you for their time and help.

Working together with community and corporate partners we are able to reach so many more vulnerable, older people at a time when they need it most. Connecting communities with kindness is central to what we do and our partnership with Emily and her wonderful team is a perfect example of that.
