Talking about the launch of the project, Lynne Misner, CEO, Small Acts of Kindness said, “In a world where the internet is often the first place to look for information, many older people find themselves digitally isolated and unable to access basic information and support. This project creates opportunities to share information face-to-face in a relaxed environment, helping build stronger, more resilient communities and connecting older people better to relevant activities and services. This can help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation, create a sense of belonging, which can often have positive effects on physical and mental wellbeing.”

Fax Siraj, Natwest Community Banker explained, “Natwest have a commitment to ensuring our services are accessible to everyone. Scams are the fastest growing crime in the UK, in partnership with National Trading Standards we are looking to raise awareness as well as where to go for help and support.”

For more information please call Small Acts of Kindness on 01923 372717

We look forward to seeing you there.
