And that's a wrap!

Christmas has well and truly been wrapped up for this year as we welcomed the Warner Bros. Christmas Elves, who, together with our volunteer family, packed and wrapped an incredible 1200 gifts.

Every year the teams from Warner Bros. Studio Leavesden kick off the festive season by packing and wrapping our 500 Christmas Boxes. This year however, we have seen a huge increase in requests for gifts which are given to older people who are on their own over the Christmas period.

We were fortunate to have had donations of individual gifts and beautifully hand - knitted blankets which can be distributed so that we can reach everyone who deserves to feel special, remembered and a little less lonely at this time of year.

Together, with members of our volunteer family, the Warner Bros. team packed an incredible 1200 gifts, including our 500 Christmas Boxes which contain a whole host of gifts and treats including a Terry's Chocolate Orange.

Our Chocolate Orange campaign proved a huge success, as once again we received all 500 to include in our boxes. Thank you so much to everyone who donated.

Everyone embraced the Christmas spirit with music playing, festive chocolates and even the odd Christmas jumper! Thank you to everyone who gave their time so generously, it was a wonderfully fun few days and so much achieved in such a short space of time.

Our Christmas Boxes and gifts are already being distributed across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, spreading some Christmas kindness through the community.

Our Small Acts of Kindness family includes over 450 volunteers. We couldn’t do what we do without their kindness and support. Their small acts of kindness mean that we continue to reach thousands of vulnerable, older people helping them feel less lonely and isolated and better connected to their community.

Partnering with Hertfordshire Libraries, we provided 300 Warm in Winter gift bags for their successful Sipper Swap events.

Winter Fuel Payments

If you receive a Winter Fuel Payment but don’t need it, please think of someone who might and donate it to Small Acts of Kindness. For thousands the cold kills. Your donation will go directly towards items included in our Warm in Winter gift bags. For some, they could be a life saver.
A Small Act

This winter, we will be sourcing, packing and distributing 12,000 Warm in Winter gift bags, at a cost of £35 to us, helping to heat the person, when they can’t afford to heat their home. This means 12,000 older people will be warmer in their homes, happier and more connected to their community, one small act at a time. We need your help to make this happen.
