As the days get shorter and temperatures drop, many older people will be struggling to heat their homes and stay warm this Christmas.  Whilst it’s a time of festivities and Christmas cheer, it can also be a deeply difficult time for many, including those who are old or vulnerable and trying to cope with sky-high energy bills.

 

So if you’re able to, please do support Small Acts of Kindness in their work giving out ‘Warm in Winter’ gift bags this Christmas. 

 

By giving older people the essentials to keep warm, like a blanket and hot drinks, as well as information on the support available to them, this could make all the difference to someone this festive period.
