Volunteers Form

UPDATE
We have been so moved by the response to our packing days and have filled over 350 volunteering opportunities. This is more than double the number from previous years.
We would love to be able to offer you the opportunity to join us, but unfortunately right now, all our packing sessions are full.
We hope we can add your details to our Small Acts of Kindness family email list and will let you know about future opportunities.
Please complete the form below with your details and we will add you to our volunteers list and be in touch soon.
Helping to pack our Warm in Winter gift bags is just one of the ways that you can help us and we thought that you might like to know about some of the other things that you might want to help us with.
1. Wrap Celebrate Christmas gifts. In addition to our Warm in Winter gift bags, we also distribute gifts to local older people who will be on their own over the festive period. We will be inviting people to help us wrap these gifts during November and if you have registered with us, we will let you know once we have confirmed the dates and hope that you will be able to join us and wrap a present or two.
2. Donate a Terry’s chocolate orange. We love to include a chocolate orange in our Christmas gift bags. Right now they are on sale in most major supermarkets for £1. If you would like to donate one or collect from friends, work colleagues or family too, we would be really grateful. You can drop them off any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between now and 5 November or call us on 01923 372717 to arrange an alternative drop off.
3. Spread the word. The loneliness and isolation that so many older people face is often a really hidden problem. If you are on social media, please follow us and share our stories and help us help connect communities with kindness and reduce loneliness and isolation.
We are on: Twitter @smallkindact Facebook @smallactsofkindness.co.uk Instagram @smallkindact and LinkedIn Small Acts of Kindness
4. Consider donating your Winter Fuel Allowance (or the equivalent if you don’t yet receive one). Every year we ask people who automatically receive a Winter Fuel Allowance and who consider that they don’t need it, to donate it to us. These donations play a huge part in helping us to help local older people keep warm over the colder months.
Once again, thank you for your interest in Small Acts of Kindness and we look forward to seeing you soon.
